Marketplace app Mercari nabs $75M to become Japan’s first unicorn

 Mercari, a peer-to-peer marketplace app, has claimed the title of Japan’s first startup unicorn after raising 8.4 billion yen (about $75 million) at a valuation of over $1 billion.
